Scotland, 1565. Mary Queen of Scots first spies her future husband, Lord Darnley through the courtyard window of Wemyss Castle, the historic family seat of renowned spirits merchants, the Wemyss family (pronounced 'weems').
Today, in recognition of this defining moment, they bring you the superbly balanced, hand crafted Darnley's View Gin.
Darnley’s View is made in the time honoured way by distilling the botanicals with a four times distilled neutral grain spirit in a pot still. We use the London Dry method so no flavours are added after distillation- only purified water to reduce our gin to its bottling strength.
