As independent bottlers, Hunter Laing collaborates with premier cooperages in Scotland and the US, as well as with Spain’s most renowned bodegas, to secure a steady supply of top-quality ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.

In 2016, the family acquired an iconic greenfield site on the island of Islay. By September of that year, planning permission was swiftly granted to build a single malt distillery. Ardnahoe Distillery began producing its spirit in October 2018, with the first cask filled in November.
